Jennifer found education through her exploration and love of nature and her desire to share with this with children. She lived in many beautiful areas around the country before settling in Louisville 8 years ago. Jennifer taught in Early Childhood for several years at WSL and previously in California. This is her first grades class. Jennifer holds a dual certificate in Early Childhood Education and Grades Teaching from the Waldorf Institute of Southern California. She earned her undergraduate degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has taught in public and private child development centers and coordinated a play therapy program for a public school system. Jennifer is the mother of Noah (alumni) and Holly (Class Eger). Shane Sparks, Jennifer’s husband volunteers at WSL teaching soccer and juggling.
