Jessica Lam

Receptionist

Jessica earned her B.S. in Industrial Design from Auburn University in 2002.  She went on to work first as a graphic designer and later as a furniture designer before cultivating a specific interest in metalworking.  She has studied under several master metal smiths, and has completed additional training in structural welding.  Jessica has formerly held children’s education positions in the Speed Museum art department and has taught metalworking to all ages including students from the Academe of the Oaks in Decatur, GA.  She is a mother of twin girls, who attended the Waldorf School of Louisville for the Parent-Child program, Daisy Garden Nursery program, and Red Rose Kindergarten. Jessica has a passion for cooking, scavenging for reusable materials, gardening, and yoga which she also teaches as a certified 200RYT.  She joined the WSL faculty in fall of 2014 and wears many hats throughout the school day.
