Michael “Mike” Eger
Mike Eger is in his seventh year at WSL and holds a Waldorf Teaching Certificate from Antioch University as well as a BFA in Ballet and MFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah. In Kentucky, he has also taught for YPAS, Lincoln Elementary, Sacred Heart Academy, the Fund for the Arts and the Governors School and has been recognized by the KY Legislature, City of Louisville and National Association for the Advancements of the Arts for his work with students. He has taught for primary, secondary, and post-secondary public and private institutions throughout the U.S. He has danced, performed, directed, and choreographed throughout the U.S. as well as Europe and the Caribbean. Some of his other professional and educational pursuits include dairy and poultry farming, agriculture/homesteading, history/genealogy, and outdoor adventure. He and his wife Connie are the proud parents of WSL fifth grade student Michael.
